Niki graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2008 with an LLB. She went on to complete her LPC at the College of Law in 2009.
Niki joined Faradays in October 2010 and worked as a Paralegal within the Family and Civil department. Niki undertook her training contract with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in July 2013 specialising in both Family and Civil Law.
Niki has a wide range of family law experience, often assisting and advising clients in what can often be the most challenging and stressful times in their lives.
Niki advises on a full range of family law matters.
In Private Law Proceedings, Niki advises clients in respect of children law matters involving child arrangement orders (previously residence and contact disputes), special guardianship orders, issues relating to parental responsibility, domestic abuse, occupation orders as well as advising generally with respect to marriage, judicial separation, divorce and financial issues including the drafting of consent orders where the parties have been able to reach an agreement between themselves.
Niki represents both applicants and respondents in Private Law proceedings. She represents clients at all stages of the proceedings including contested final hearings, breach proceedings as well as committal applications.
In Public Law Proceedings, Niki frequently advises parents as well as other family members such as grandparents in complex care cases where the children have suffered serious physical, emotional or sexual abuse, non- accidental injury, the child is beyond parental control, as well as cases with international issues requiring transfer of proceedings between jurisdictions. Niki has also advised parents where the local authority seek to deprive a child of his liberty through the family courts.
Niki undertakes advocacy in both the Family Proceedings Court and the County Court.
She advises on all Personal Injury matters, and specialises in cases that are suitable for the Claims Portal and Fatal Accident Claims
Niki is fluent in Greek.
